I’m Zöe Lovelore, a writer and lover of food.

Fare Tales was born from a desire to make storytelling a little more interactive. Rather than keeping my fictional worlds confined to the page, I wanted to invite readers to experience them in another way: through the food, flavours, and dishes within them.

For me, food and stories have always been intertwined. Both have a way of bringing people together, evoking memories, and making the unfamiliar feel a little more like home.

Fare Tales is my way of combining two things I love: creating fantastical worlds and eating good food. It’s an experiment in storytelling beyond the traditional book, and an invitation to read, cook, and explore alongside me.

As this is an ongoing creative project, some chapters may arrive slightly rough around the edges. Not every instalment will be perfectly edited or polished, but that’s part of the experience of following a story as it unfolds.
